We are so excited to create some health with you!

Here’s what to expect during your first visit with us:

We’ll spend 90 minutes together, sip some herbal tea and chat. You’ll get a chance to tell your story, and we’ll listen intently. You’ll likely share experiences that you’ve never been able to before. We may ask some questions that someone has never asked you before.

It is extra helpful if you bring in all the medications and supplements you take regularly in with your for your appointment. It’ll give us a clear picture of what you are taking. 

For some folks with concerns that are about pain in their body or movement dysfunction, there will be less chatting and more physical assessment. These will be hands-on. 

We may do physical exams, if needed. Naturopathic doctors can preform exams just like your family doctor. These can include, but not limited to: heart, vessels, skin, lungs, eyes, ears, nervous system, nose, throat, abdomen, chest or pelvis. As always, these will be performed with love, compassion and a trauma informed perspective.

We will go through keynotes of your health history form. These are poignant things that stuck out to us as we reviewed your health history prior to your visit. 

We’ll build goals together.

We might ask you to look for labs, imaging or other diagnostic reports you’ve had in the past and are relevant to your concerns now.

We might order labs if indicated. These may be standard labs, or advanced testing.

We might initiate treatment in pressing circumstances, but for the majority of folks, treatments will begin the following session. We’ll be clear with your unique timeline and trajectory.

We might have to take all the information we gathered together and do additional research so we can find the best matched tools for your case.

You’ll be able to direct bill your third-party insurance providers, or pay cash, credit or debit.
